SimCity 4

Azure Trance

Anyone try it out yet? Graphics are definetly up a notch, but my cities all tend to suffer from going-in-the-red-itis. Back to Capital City though!

I'm so eager to pick this one up! Hopefully I'll get a chance to swing by the gamestore sometime this week.

I've heard about the problems making money early on...but how is it in general? Sorry for not contributing any info...just hoping to get a few more first-hand accounts of it. :D

I have a friend who has installed it on my system until he gets a video card that can deal with it. He's having the same problem, but at the same time isn't really all that bright at times.

Not a helpful post. Mabye I'll sit down with it a while and find out for myself. My problem in Sim City (well, 2000 at least, being the last one I played heavilt) was expanding a small profitable city into a larger one without hurting the econemy too much.

Sat down with this for about three hours just now. Thus far I have a nice little city that's running rather well and at a tidy profit, though in part due to about $800/mo I get from my military base and missile test grounds. It's a bit easier to build a simple city and turn a proffit in my opinion if you're careful, and the game offers some nice ways to help you out in this reguards (like my affore mentioned military instaliations).
