...I dare you all to come up with a d20 template for Wraeththu.

If you don't know what a Wraeththu is, look here and here. But only if you are really brave.

The first one to post a complete template will get... nightmares probably, come to think of it.

I am so going to hell for this...

I actually bought a compilation of three books in this series. I couldn't get through the first one, though I usually have trouble with anything that wasn't written in the 1920s. I don't think this thread it encouraging me to try again though.

What a disaster. I should report a bad post on you, Jurgen. I just read through a fair amount of drek on what sounded like unforgivably bad, bad, writing and design. I want that half-hour back!

At least I can take away a gratitude for EN World, WotC, Malhavoc, Expeditious retreat, and Green Ronin.

I feel real sympathy for the reviewer. I always thought that it would be cool to playtest. Now I see the hidden dangers.

EDIT: I just realized: this is how the Planes of Conflict boxed set decsribes the Gray Waste: pointless, endless, apathetic despair.

Then I realized while writing the above that I'm not going to be able to let this go. This is bad that will haunt be all day long.

Please don't mention that product in THIS thread. It has done nothing to you.

One additional notable characteristic of Wraeththu is their need for regular sexual intercourse, known among Wraeththu as aruna.

If I could then figure out a way to slap this template on my wife that would be great.

I read through most of the review before feeling so disgusted that I closed the page.

To dignify the work by calling it excrement would be insulting -- to excrement, that is. At least excrement can be used in a garden as fertilizer. I fear what might grow from mulching copies of Wraethu and planting them in a garden. The reproduction method of the har -- blood sharing -- strains credulity in what apparently seems to be a science fiction/science fantasy game.

Let's say that as a man, who has several women in his life whom he values and holds himself to a set of ethical and religious standards, I found the treatment of women in the setting to be disgusting. I have not been so offended about learning of a product since I read about F.A.T.A.L. .

The second link says that Storm Constantine is a woman. What do you call it when a woman is misogynistic?

See the substance that would be insulted by being compared to this game. Or you can think of such things as green slime.
See the term that I used i
