Thoughts? Seemed a bit of a cop out episode, to me. A cheap parlor trick at best, episode. Only thing that mattered was Lionel getting out.

I liked it. It wasn't great, but I didn't see much for me to hate. Some nice Clark/Chloe moments (I'm glad they're starting to replace the boring Clark/Lana moments), and I too am intrigued as to the identity of Luthor's mysterious benefactor. (I'm guessing either Ms Crosby or Ms Teague.)

I'm kind of conflicted about the possibility of Chloe learning Clark's secret, like they were talking about at the end. On one hand, I'd like Clark to have another confidante, but on the other hand, Chloe learning would spell certain death for her to ensure that no one knows about Clark/Superman as an adult. (Except Pete, natch.)

I thought the hallucination sequences were pretty neat. The first one had me going for a few moments, but I'm glad that after that they didn't try to pass them off as reality. I really liked Clark's and Lex's, and I find it interesting that Lex's was pretty much the same as the vision seen by that lady Cassandra in the first season. Although that may just have been WB recycling stock footage. :p

I'm just surprised that they never mentioned a certain psychology professor from Gotham City... :p

I thought it was pretty good too. It was a great character piece showing the fears of most of trhe cast. I thought Clark's fear was going to be what Lex would do if he found out.

I did like LEX's nightmare, visually very cool. I wouldn't mind having Chloe in on the secret, I mean it is safe to assume the show will never get to "Superman" and since they have gone so many ways against the initial comic (something I don;t have a problem with, mind you) it hardly matters "in the long run" if Chloe finds out.

Does anyone see this show going another 5 years to get him to Metropolis(assuming he'll go onto to college for four years)?

I've actually wanted Chloe to know for a while now, she seems like the perfect cast member for it. I also liked that they are not afraid to do things different, it really has helped the show and suprise long term Superman fans.

I think the show will go as long as the ratings hold up and I have no idea how they are doing compaired to when it first started. Also, the DVD sells will effect this.

I've missed the last three weeks of Smallville...is his secret totally safe or does anybody else know about it? What is that about Luther getting free?

The producers said that next season will take place mostly in Metropolis as Clark and the gang go to college there. And they said that there'll be more DC Universe cameos.

I'm wondering when he'll start wearing glasses all the time. Since that was his "mask", he should be doing it sometime before the point that lots of people would recognize him as Clark without them. I'm pretty sure they've already passed that point, though.

I did not like this episode. The best parts were Lex's vision. I caught the connection to the first season as well.

I also liked Lionel's reaction to whoever got him out of jail. I see two possibilities:

Morgan Edge (although he would not have the polical clout to do it right)
Swann's assistant
