What I want to know is, when can we expect to see the first season on DVD?

Well, if we look at the trends, we will probably get one sometime next year. 24 got one really quickly because of it's tremendous popularity. I don't think Smallville is quite there yet. It took 6 years to get a Buffy DVD set, but that's because DVD wasn't popular 6 years ago. Angel got one after 3 years. So given the demand, that's why I think next year is a safe bet. We'll be nearing the end of season 3 and the right's holders will have a better gauge on what to release. I guess it all depends on how popular the show is when it comes down to it...Assenpfeffer said:

I believe I've read that the producers/writers have stated that Chloe is actually Lois Lane's cousin, and that Lois may be visiting Smallville for an episode at some point.

I read the same thing ...along with the Bruce Wayne idea.
Chris Reeves will be a recurring role ...at least 3 more episodes anyways.
This sounds to me like the producers are having fun and are passinate about what they are doing. This is a good thing.
I do not think they will tie any of this to Lois and Clark at all. It would be cool to see Dean Caine do a guest appearance though. Maybe they can make him Bruce Wayne eh? Just a stray thought...
Man I can't wait til Sunday to watch this episode again.
