What I want to know is, when can we expect to see the first season on DVD?
Well, if we look at the trends, we will probably get one sometime next year. 24 got one really quickly because of it's tremendous popularity. I don't think Smallville is quite there yet. It took 6 years to get a Buffy DVD set, but that's because DVD wasn't popular 6 years ago. Angel got one after 3 years. So given the demand, that's why I think next year is a safe bet. We'll be nearing the end of season 3 and the right's holders will have a better gauge on what to release. I guess it all depends on how popular the show is when it comes down to it...Assenpfeffer said:What I want to know is, when can we expect to see the first season on DVD?

Ah, yes. Good point. I keep forgetting that other regions outside the US typically get stuff before we Americans do. Doh!Sulimo said:This depends on where you are or whether you have a region free player. I thought season 1 was coming out in R2/4 this year sometime.
Pre-Crisis he was a machine and they returned Brainy to his metallic self some years back. After being nearly destraoyed by some thing or another, he copied himself into a computer.rangerjohn said:About Brainiac in some incarnations he was a machine. Just not in all.

More importantly, I wonder how they'll reconcile this (or even attempt to reconcile this) with "Lois and Clark"?

I don't think they'll do this, but on a side note, my wife is convinced that Lois Lane is Cloe's pen name (based on the "I'm the kind of girl you'll grow into" letter from last weeks episode.)
