Sneak Attack and TWF question

Hi guys.
I used to run a mid to high level rogue tricked out with a bunch of TWF feats. My group assumed that the sneak attack damage he did applied to all attacks both with the on and off hands. Was this an incorrect assumption? What attacks would sneak attack apply to assuming you are flanking or denying your opponent his AC dex bonus?
Cheers,

It applies to all attacks with which the target is denied Dex or is flanked. Which usually means all the attacks.

Thanks alot for the quick response!

How would this apply to invisible characters?
Would they get their sneak attack bonus throughout their full attack or would they become visible after their first die roll and thus lose out on the sneak attacks for the rest of the round?

Cheers,
Sam

As far as I understand, you become visible after the first attack, so sneak attack would only apply to the first hit. Of course, it's still worth it for one hit. Plus, if you use your invisibility to first get into flanking, then it's even better.

You get a sneak attack bonus whenever someone is denied their Dex bonus. I don't think you attack once with one AC and then all of the other attacks are with a different AC. I believe ALL of the attacks that round are treated as if the attacker were invisible, and thus they all receive a sneak attack bonus.

No, only the first one. After the first attack, you are no longer invisible. If you take down your opponent in the first attack, for example, you can switch opponents. Are you suggesting you get sneak attacks against the next opponents? (Note, you don't even have to drop your first opponent to switch.)

Now that I look it up... from the description of Invisibility...
The spell ends if the subject attacks any creature.
If you're making a full attack, the first attack takes the attack action and the spell ends. Since you're no longer invisible, the condition to satisfy the defender's loss of AC is no longer valid.

Make sense?

Yes, that's what I'm suggesting. All opponents are denied their Dex bonus against an invisible foe until their initiative comes around while the guy is visible. Exactly what I'm suggesting is:

1) When you make your first attack, you become visible.
2) It doesn't matter because whoever was denied a Dex bonus against you, continues to be denied a Dex bonus until it's their turn.
3) So, every attack you make is a sneak attack.

When you run into some guy in a hallway and you're visible, you get full sneak attacks when you attack first (not even counting the surprise round!). Why wouldn't you get them if you're completely invisible?

#2 is the place you're wrong. You would need to find some support in the rules for that, but you won't be able to, because you're wrong.

They are only denied their Dex bonus as long as you are invisible. After the first attack in your attack sequence, you are no longer invisible, thus they are no longer denied that Dex bonus. Others have already said this, though, but I'm just trying to clarify it with regards to your post.
