sneak attack/telekinesis

If a rogue with a ring of telekinesis uses the "sudden burst" affect to have a weapon attack an opponent who is within 30 feet of the rogue, does the rogue gain the sneak attack bonus to damage if he would otherwise be entitled to (say, if the rogue were invisible, etc.).

I am unsure about how well a telekinetically controlled dagger can "aim".
