So Combat Challenge triggers OA against OA triggered by allies?

I was thinking Deft Strike for a rogue would be chancy without a high defense to Opportunity attacks, but then saw that if someone Marked by a fighter attacks someone else, then the Fighter can pop him one.
So If I did a zigzag back and forth like move passed the Enemy, that would trigger an OA, then the Fighter hits em. Then I deft strike passed again, and that triggers another?
or should the GM exercise some judgment and have the enemy perhaps decide not to pursue an OA?

The fighter only gets one immediate action per round, so it's not quite as awesome as you might think. Otherwise, yeah, triggering an OA from a mob should allow a fighter to get in a free hit. The mob doesn't have to take the OA.

I thought you were allowed one OA per enemy per round... Or did that get removed? I think I remember that back from D&DXP news, so it might not be true anymore, haven't looked it up yet.

You get one OA per enemy's turn, but Combat Challenge does not allow you to make OAs. It allows you to make a melee basic attack as an immediate interrupt, and you only get one immediate action per round.

Everyone gets one OA per creatures turn and one Immediate Action per Round.

So your rogue could draw an OA from the mob, and your fighter ally could use his Combat Challenge to attack the mob first (using his one Immediate Action that round). Now when the rogue moves back, the mob has used his one OA, so he won't attack a second time, and even if he did, the fighter couldn't use his Combat Challenge either.

If, let's say, a second ally acted right after you, he could try the same trick and draw an OA from a mob marked by the fighter. However the fighter is still out of Immediate Actions until his turn, and he can't use his Combat Challenge, so it wouldn't work.
