Isnt there some kind of forum rule against showing off or creating jealous feelings ? Darn lucky guy....

Well I do warn you that I have heard a lot of silly things women do differently from men when playing... some include:

Asking about voltage when the DM told them they are going to a different city in game... she was worried about her hairdryer.

Another group kept asking these super detailed questions about any NPC they met... hairstyle... general cleanliness... if they were handsome... how they acted... etc. etc.. So careful with NPC descriptions. :)

I would have prefered your wife had picked and chosen people with a "natural" tendency to like RPGs. Still who knows it might work out. If an airstewardess does approach us to play we won't let her get away... or I mean not play.

Barsoomcore - when do you begin your gloating ... erm, I mean, your game with new players?

The setting looks cool and I am interested in hearing how it all turns out.

We are scheduled for Nov 16. Received a charming reply from one of the ladies in question (she has an immensely amusing French accent which makes reading this even more entertaining -- just say it all like a fussy French woman):
Good Morning!

How are you? I have received your e-email about your evening of Dragons and Slayers (sorry, if I mistakenly named your event wrong!). I am sorry I did not return your message sooner... My computer died last April, I have to get a new one soon, it's already November. I do not check my e-mails often and besides, I was waiting for the longest time for my schedule of November. Yes, I have the 16th off, and yes, I will be there.
Durahgones ahnd Slayahs, non?

:D

You also might be smart to do a double-check and make sure you aren't either dreaming and/or in a nirvanalike afterlife before going through the trouble of planning for the game.

Sounds like you will have a blast. She has some enthusiasm and doesn't even know the name. How cool is that? :)
