5E So.... no UA this month?

So it's 6 days into the month and no Unearthed Arcana, did I miss any news... or are they too busy with their yearly precedent of right-before-Christmas layoffs?

IIRC, it always comes out on the first Monday of the month. So be a little more patient. One more sleep to go.

With these kind of attitudes out there, if I were them I'd deliberately not release any articles just to piss those people off...

Because all the other fans should suffer because some random guy said something a bit mean on the internet?

Roll d6
  1. It's already up, but we all failed our Perception checks.
  2. It's a playtest for a new "Read Invisible Articles" spell.
  3. It isn't tomorrow yet, on the West Coast.
  4. December doesn't count if the year ends in a 5.
  5. Because Rangers.
  6. Roll again twice, discarding sixes.

I disagree with that!

Anyway, still not Monday over in Blighty or the US yet, although it is over here. Maybe we'll see one soon. Or maybe they're taking a Xmas break.

They had planned to release it, but they're having such a heated internal debate about whether repelling blast can be 8nterrupted that they forgot to.

You have no idea how open my eyes are.
If not receiving an article about Dungeons & Dragons first thing on the morning that it's supposed to be released and there's a good chance it will be about a subject in the game you won't actually even *care* about, is considered "suffering"... then I would imagine your eyes are so encrusted with sleepy eye-junk that you'd qualify as visually impaired on your driver's license. ;)

I was responding to your post where you talked about deliberately withholding it until later.

And, as I said, it doesn't need to be big to be suffering. More like a paper cut.

Edit:

... and there's a good chance it will be about a subject in the game you won't actually even *care* about...
Yeah, funny that...

For those that've missed it for the past...six months?...eight?...ten? [How many of these have we seen by now?]

The UA articles are posted the FIRST MONDAY of the month. That means the date will change, from month to month. It will not always be the 1st or the 3rd or the 5th...We CAN say, the latest it will ever be is the 7th. OH LOOK! It's the 7th.

Now you can begin bating your breaths for January's UA article...to be sated, you guessed it, on the 1st Monday of that month.

Glad we're all up to speed.

Don't count on it - on the first Monday of January the guys at WotC may well be just returning from a well-earned break. Probably best to give them a few days' grace on that one.
