This month's issue needed to be released back in the mid 80s when people were looking for a reason to burn down D&D.

Don't count on it - on the first Monday of January the guys at WotC may well be just returning from a well-earned break. Probably best to give them a few days' grace on that one.

Bah. New Year's Eve is the preceding Thursday night. Take two ibuprofen, have some OJ (or pomegranate juice or whatever your vitamin/anti-oxidant rich juice of choice is), some coffee, and get into the office, ya slackers!

But, fine. Let's just say, the earliest you'll see January's UA will be the 4th (the first Monday).

We take New Year's Eve more seriously in Scotland. I do expect to be suffering on the 4th, but not for a lack of Unearthed Arcana...

Sweet Jesus. I swear, sometimes I think the worst thing about our hobby are the "fans". Never miss an opportunity to take hyperbolic pot shots, even if they arne't all that accurate. Worse than the Ford/Chevy fans lol

Yeah, and as a close relative and friend to numerous car fans, let's just say it can get really weird... like 3 people driving functionally identical cars (if they weren't labelled with chrome name-plates a normal person likely wouldn't realize they're any differences) stamped by 3 different brands and each claiming theirs as the clearly superior vehicle.

The UA articles are posted the FIRST MONDAY of the month. That means the date will change, from month to month. It will not always be the 1st or the 3rd or the 5th...We CAN say, the latest it will ever be is the 7th. OH LOOK! It's the 7th.

I have it on good authority that WotC, being based in Renton Washington, USA, does not go by New Zealand's time zone.
