Dude, no w00fing! That's what got us beat by -- cough, sputter, cough -- Alabama-Birmingham ...

I have to admit that I'm very pleasantly surprised to see the Cats poised to take a #1 seed into the tournament, barring disaster. They've gotten very lucky, with their losses coming when the other elite teams also suffered losses. They're just so young and inexperienced, and such lousy free-throw shooters. At least one game in the six you have to win in the tournament comes down to making free throws, and Kentucky just can't be counted on for that.

Still, it's UK. I can no more not pick them to win it all than I can not lust for Ashley Judd.

I was at that game last year. Kentucky played right into their hands. It was a really good game.

And Illinois, and Kansas; but not the seamless, sublime machine that is Gonzaga basketball. Bonus that I couldn't stand the Toreros when they came to Portland; I've never seen such a bunch of whiners about foul calls.

Kentucky loses to Carolina in the Elite Eight; you heard it here first.

I think it's Carolina; Roy Williams gets it done the first year he's not at KU.

Last time UK lost the SEC championship (IIRC) was 1996. Who got the last laugh that year?

Oh well, win or lose I'll have fun with this. Talking trash is half the fun.

All I can say is that I'm glad David Lee got the win vs UK in his last game at home... That guy is the most motivated guy on the floor for us here in G'ville. I just hope one of the freshmen are ready to fill his shoes, gawd knows we need the help under the rim.

Go Gators!

Get ready for some Urban warfare! Coach Meyer is bringin' the respect back to the Swamp!
