D&D 5E So, who's ready to Gestalt 5E?

Now that 5E is here, let's break it with the most potentially unbalancing rule-mod: gestalting à la 3.5E's Unearthed Arcana, where you take two classes at each level and take all the benefits of each, and the superior benefit in case of overlap such as hit dice.

I'm thinkin' Mountain Dwarf Abjurer/Eldritch Knight.

What've you guys got?

Wow, it's kind of amazing how easily that works, with the unified math. Hmm.

I'll say Circle of the moon druid/Path of Shadows Monk, for shadow-jumping grizzly action.

Otherwise, Champion Fighter/Berzerker Barbarian, for 4 attacks + Rage + Critical on 18 + Brutal Critical.

Rogue (Assassin) / Monk (Shadowdancer).

Negotiate with DM for non-lethal unarmed "assassinations."

20 in all stats.

Batman.

You're a terrible person and you should be ashamed of yourself.
Maybe that's why I usually DM. In all seriousness, though, I think having a barbarian who, over time learns how to guide his inner beast through levels of monk sounds interesting (with the separated armor calculation methods).
