D&D General So, you want realism in D&D?

I'm pretty sure one of the 3e books explicitly talks about Warforged taking on gender identities and working to upgrade their forms to match that identity in fact.

Like seriously, warforged are the worst example to use when talking about preventing players from having their characters present how they choose. Except Changelings, also from Best Setting.

my favorite is when they say feelings don't matter here are the facts... then you show them new facts so they say that doesn't feel true. (like people doing acrobatics in plate, or people running faster then D&D allows or jumping almost at all)

I assume any acrobatics (or swimming or jumping) in plate are a lot less than the folks who do those things competively do in competition when they're wearing almost nothing? I would not be surprised if decathlete/heptathlete who practiced doing things in plate would still outdo most gamers who were wearing athletic gear. A video series showing it would be great so that folks knew what they were versimilituding.
