Spells that don't do damage

I'm hoping for some help in finding spells that don't do damage.

Stun, daze, nauseate...any effect that removes someone from combat, but not direct damage.

I'm hoping someone has a spell database that'll allow you to search by effect to make this quick and painless.

Does anyone have that type of information available?

Thanks.

Hi Gak Toid,

In our last game, the rogue of the party was dominated by a vampire. The party alienist Lucifus Cray promptly turned him to stone. It's a little more permanent than you're average hold monster. By definition, it's painless and does not do damage.

Aside:
While a curious choice, The alienist did not want to use up his maze spell and it gave his raven familiar something to commit its nuisances upon. In fact, burying the "statue" is a very neat way of removing someone from the game. I don't believe they can be true resurrected because in fact they are still technically "alive". Whether Discern Location would work is a matter for conjecture as well. I'm not too sure if this was your purpose or not but heh, I've been feeling verbose this morning.

Best Regards

and just about every effect that causes it grants a fort save. Poly any object can do it temporarily, but dupicating the flesh to stone spell with it won't work.

Undead Type:
Features: An undead creature has the following features.
—Immunity to all mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, phantasms, patterns, and morale effects).
—Immunity to poison, sleep effects, paralysis, stunning, disease, and death effects.
—Immunity to any effect that requires a Fortitude save (unless the effect also works on objects or is harmless).

But normally petrification is a very nice way to eliminate an annoyance. Even if you grind the stone to powder the victim does not die, UNTIL he gets unpetrified. No aging means it is D&D cryonics too.

My players won't go near stinking cloud. They are deathly afraid i'll let gas rip to simulate the spell's effect.

I think he meant that the wizard turned the dominated rogue into stone to prevent him from attacking the party.
