Split ray timeing

so if a wall of force is up i split ray a disinagrate would the second ray hit beond the wall or would they both impact on the wall negateing the effect of the second ray?

In that same way of thinking if I use split ray could i chose a target for the first ray roll see damage then deside what to do with the second ray?

Does this fall under DM discrestion?

The latter, IMO.

No. The rays are being fired at the same time. Consider it like Scorching Ray, where (at 7th level or higher) you're firing multiple rays at the same time. You can't check the effects of one ray on one target and then target the latter, accordingly.

Doesn't everything :)? Jokes aside, I think some DM discretion is called for here, since it's not explicitly spelled out in the feat description.
