[Spoiler] What happened to your Meepo?

Meepo survived the encounter with the white dragonling, and was part of the PCs negotiations with the kobold queen. Later, he went with the party down into the lower levels of the citadel with the party, and, memory serving was knocked out by one of the kids during the fight at the tree. He was healed up, and after the party wrapped up events in the citadel, was instrumental in the PCs efforts to establish peaceful contact between the people of the nearby town (Ashabenford?) and the kobolds who were now in sole possession of the ruin. This was due in part to the fact that Meepo could speak Common, had already demonstrated some ability to form a rappor with humans, and because the Queen held a bit of a grudge against him on account of Calcryx dying and didn't want him hanging around the place too much.

Meepo stuck around for a bit after peaceful relations between the two people had been established, then eventually took off on his own, no longer feeling like a real part of his tribe any longer. In time, Meepo began to pick up levels in Ranger, with Favored Enemy (Dragons).

After being ordered to join the group as a guide, meepo was used as punching bag by one of the fighters when the party discovered a white lizard is not always a normal white lizard. The white lizard frosted both Meepo and the fighter. And the Bard, "I killed a white dragon in one shot!.....and the party helped." off the white lizard. (Note was playing with triple crit kill rule at time. Group looked at dead dragon and immediatly revoted not to use that option.)


note b. Due the nice stories here and in story hour. Meepo became a common name for kobolds. So far the party has met Meepo 1 in Sunless. Meepo 2 in under the storm's giant's castle (used for maps). Meepo 3 was created but the group fell apart.

My players, er one player, killed him.

The rest of the party shouted at the archer to 'don't shoot the kobold!'

Critical hit, Meepo dead.

It certainly changed things.

Meepo fell in the Great Kobald Purge. He was hacked and slashed until his little body fell...broken and bloody.

OH well he was just another Kobald. You can get them for cheap on the open market.

First group: One PC spoke Draconic and there were no gnomes in the party, so safe passage and an audience with the sorceress-queen (Yavalla?) were negotiated. Meepo accompanied the PCs to retrieve the white dragon, Calcryx. The rescue of Erky almost broke the alliance, but the PCs were able to convince Meepo that they would only rescue his "pet" if Erky was allowed to join them. After Calcryx was found and stunned, Meepo (who was almost killed in the attempt) then returned to his tribe to continue with care-taking of the dragon. (Erky stayed behind in a previously secured area, while the rest of the party went back to collect their reward from the queen).

Second group: Meepo was killed while he slept, and the PCs were forced to fight and kill the entire kobold tribe.

Meepo went with the PCs as a guide, and to recapture Calcryx. When they found Calcryx, the wormling killed Meepo before anyone could stop it. So they left the body in the room with Calcryx, stroked the young dragon's ego a bit, then continued with the rest of the adventure.

Erky was rescued and helped the PCs with their fight against the goblin king. While the PCs descended the vines to the lower level, Erky stayed above to secure their escape route, and to wag a guerrila-style war against the remaining goblins.

When the PCs finally got back to the kobold queen, she gave them a reward for not bringing back Meepo.

The characters in the campaign I DMed killed him while he was trying to surrender, begging from his knees for mercy.

Not exactly their most heroic moment.

Though I have never played or run this, I've heard of Meepo and honored him by including him in an Urban Arcana game once (inspired, of course, by the kobold picture which has a nametag that says 'Meepo' ).

In what will soon be added to my story hour... (Assuming I ever update it)

Meepo was captured by the PC's while crying over losing Calcryx. He played the Jar-Jar role with the Kobold Queen, Yssdrayl, and was forced to act as the PC's guide so they could rescue the White Dragon he lost. He was frosted by his old pet, and after the PC's subdued him, and he was charged to keep him healthy, he started torturing the poor White Wyrmling. Kept his cage nice and hot.

Meepo eventually picked up 2 levels of Bard, and went back into the UnderDark while the PC's were clearing out Goblinville, and found a second dragon egg (A Gold one). This was seen as very suspicious by the party, as a peon Kobold shouldn't be finding multiple Dragon Eggs out of nowhere. He had a big party in his honor, and is easily Yssdrayl's number 2.

8 months later it is rumored that the Kobolds populated the lower level of the Citadel using the Mushrooms as a food supply and grew into a great tribe. But no one ever really investigated the odd Kobold who was drawn to Dragon Eggs....
