[Spoilers] Angel 03/11

I'm totally excited to see WIllow next week! I wonder if she'll be kicking ass or "simply" restoring Angel's soul. I've always been a big fan of crossovers, regardless of the actual series being crossed over. I wonder if any bits of this story arc will feedback into Buffy, especially now that Willow is making a trip.

I wont say i told you so on my theories, but ...
Well, the Willow returning the soul thing was a popular and easily the most probably theory. :p

Altho, I can't remember who said what at this point without going back a scouring the threads (which I would do if I was at home). :) Either way, should be a fun ride.

Darth Willow! (well ... kinda like good Darth Willow)

I'm waiting for willow to show her the true power of the Force! :)

Glinda my ass!

So in other words we get a sort of repeat of Buffy's 1st season where Faith dies and another Slayer is activated. Damn. That kind of sucks for my whole "Follow the TRUE Slayer" deal.

That's just my guess, but it is in my opinion borne out by the fact that the snippets we saw from the next episode show Faith waking up in a bed. We have seen that the AngelScoobs are willing to take the appropriate steps to ensure that those apparently slain by vampires don't become vamps themselves, and this preemptive staking/decapitating/what-have-you would make that impossible. Unless Angel carts her off somewhere, of course, but that would mean finding rather nice digs on short notice.

I would just like to say on a completely geeked-out note that I am most definitely looking forward to an old school Buffy the Vampire Slayer original Scoobie Gang showdown between Cordy and Willow. I mean seriously, this has been brewing since season 1 of Buffy. Cordy and Willow have never gotten along and no one saw either of their characters turning out like this, but the possibilities are endless at this point.

I think Joss will pull out all the stops next week. All the Wes, Faith and Angel stuff plus the Cordy/Willow/Conner/Angel stuff is almost too much to take as a Buffyverse fan. :D

Maybe when I calm down I'll make some real comments on tonight's ep...

John, must agree the whole Willow versus Cordy has had a long time brewing. It's only now that we can all say "It's on!" :D (And I do think Willow and Cordy WILL face off. Just fated IMHO. ;) )

While it would be interesting to see a vampiric Slayer, I think what will happen is that Angel will do enough damage to Faith to kill her, then she will somehow recieve sufficient medical attention to bring her back. This will, of course, trigger a third active slayer, one who I very much hope is not Kennedy.

Well, she can still guest star on Buffy as a vamp...
But, if he does kill her by draining her, I think Vamp is the only way, I don't think you can bring her back. Buffy in first season drowned and was revived.
Most likely Wes wakes up and hits him with a dart or something.

Also, some of us are waiting for the scene on Buffy when the Slayer dies in a combat, then a new one is picked, she dies, a new one is picked...
You could go through 10 slayers in one fight! :)

That is very likely. Even though we will all see it coming, it will be cool. The shocker will be at the end of the ep, I'm sure. :)

I am not a proponent of this theory, mostly because it cheapens the Slayer concept. Ick. I can't see Joss doing something like that. I also don't see Faith dying but I guess we'll see. :)

So, am I the only one who thinks that Faith getting drained was somehow part of Wes's plans and he drugged Faith to effect Angel? With the mention of people doing that in the drug den it just seemed like a solution Wes would go for.
