Agreed, but he isn't past flashbacks or telling things in story form later (ei, Buffy not going to hell).

Hey... that's not bad! I could see that occuring, though there is the problem of Willow knowing of Faith's death and bringing that knowledge back to Sunnydale with her.

I think Buffy and crew would be ready for something like that. They would probably touch everyone that walked in the door just to make certain (or something like that). So unless adding a dead slayer's image to the arsenal would make things any better for The First, I don't see it. But, I've been wrong before...

It could be that Faith also comes back as a bonded spirit to Buffy. Buffy had a number of Slayer dreams with Faith, could be something like that, where the slayer power re-unites in Buffy and she becomes the only slayer until she dies, which then triggers a new slayer!

Just a thougth, don't see it playing out tha way.

I am not a proponent of this theory, mostly because it cheapens the Slayer concept. Ick. I can't see Joss doing something like that. I also don't see Faith dying but I guess we'll see.

Well, metagaming wise, there were rumors of a Faith show being offered and turned down, so if the scripts are already written, she most likely survives.

Or, she dies, becomes a vamp, then they curse her with a soul, making her the first slayer vampire with a soul!
