SPYCRAFT: Blood Money (The Warehouse)

Luddite

First Post
Luddite hears the "arugment" starting and chukles as he infers the meaning of a few more colorful Arabic Phrases he has not heard before. He then looks over to Lana.

And so it begins. Keep and eye out.

Game Control

First Post
Ghostfox moves forward on the beam with ease and takes a position closer to the guard, on the edge of the light's glare.

[OOC:
Balance
16 + 6

MSilent
3 + 9

The result isn't high but the sentry doesn't lift his head. He seems still unaware of you.

You are now 35' away from the guard (again ignoring pythagorus!). That's as far as you can go without having to do Hide check along with the MS ones.]

Game Control

First Post
One of the guard walks casually near the entrance and stops to watch the ''fight'' between Kareem and Kim.

OOC: The guard doesn't seem overly excited to see a fight. It doesn't seem to be a rare occurence in the area. He's standing 20 feet inside the warehouse and looks at the fight with a small smile.

As I said OOC; to really draw him out you need to disrupt the loading/unloading of the cargo. In that case it's a sure bet he'll want to make you stop. But these are dock workers you'd be messing with, not choir children, so be careful...

Bottom line, either you are satisfied with this one easy target and try to drop him (he's about 30' from you) or you do something more drastic to force the guards to intervene.

Kareem_Amirr

First Post
Kareem will swing a wild, drunken fist at Kim, then threaten in Arabic "I'll cut your tongue out, then move closer." (OOC: If the guard doesn't speak Arabic, all is well; if he does, then he's going to be confused.)
Kareem continues to swing wildly, sometimes with his fist and sometimes with his duffel, all the while forcing Kim closer to the guard, occasionally stumbling or mumbling some other threats in Arabic [Bluff +5, aiding Kim]

OOC: Maybe we can take the guy out with a surprise melee attack. From now on, I'm buying a baseball bat!

Game Control

First Post
The guards loses his smile and tenses up as the fight draws closer to him and the warehouse. This guards has a revolver in his belt and he rests his hand over it.

-''That's enough of this, whiteys! Get the Fu*k out of here now or we have you shot and thrown in the lake!''

His eyes narrows as he observe the fight carefully.

-''Holy... what's this WWF crap! Hey guys...

He goes for his weapon, not yet panicked but extremely suspicious.

OOC: He means it. You have barely moved 10' toward him before he issues the warning. You are still 20' away.

Bluff

Kareem
1 + 5 DC 10

Kim
7 + 10

I spend an AD on Kareem's check, the guard becomes suspicious and goes for his weapon.

1-You don't think he's about to shoot, but he's certainly about to draw, threaten you and call for backup.
2-You can still outdraw him (roll for normal initiative, there's going to be no surprise round after all)

But you have to decide whether to try a salvage bluff or fighting back immediately.

This doesn't affect Ghost, she could still fire her surprise round as she hear the ruckus in front. This does affect Ronin who is in the same area as Kim and Kareem and will have to choose between fighting now or laying low immediately.

"Ah shoot!" Kareem mutters in English. He then tries to sock Tokiwong in the jaw; lightly, but enough to cause damage (+3 melee attack), While Tokiwong is still distracted by his bunch, Kareem will kick Tokiwong in the chest. Again, not hard, but not soft either.

OOC: Seems like the best way to salvage this. Sorry, Kim.

Tokiwong

First Post
Kim blinks in shock and pain but goes with the flow... he tumbles back into a rack... and leans against it.. clutching his stomach... he waits to see what Kareem does next... his hand inching slowly to his pistol...

Steel Ronin

First Post
Ken maneuvers himself in a position (near the entrance to the building) where he has a clear LOS of the front guard. He now stands still - bag in hand, watching the fight between Kim and Kareem. His thoughts, however, center on the handgun sitting in its holster (hidden just beneath his light jacket).

"Give me the sign and he's a dead man," Ken thinks to himself.

Game Control

First Post
The guards is somewhat reassured when he sees the bloodied face of Kim. He's still totting his revolver in their direction and speaks angrily. He fires one bullet in the air as a warning.

-''Enough with that non-sense. I'm warning you one last time. Get the hell out of here.''

OOC:

Kareem
16 + whatever

Kareem clocks Kim on the mouth. Kim loses 3 VP. The guard is satisfied that this really is a fight now and is treating the incident as such. He's still not satisfied about you being here, though. He's still 20' away. Everyone heard the shot.

The sentry at the top of the stairs is startled, but from his position he can see that this was a shot fired in the air. The patrols in the rear of the warehouse aren't aware of this though. Fox sees them calling on the radio and hustling toward the front.

The patrol who fired in the air still points his gun toward the rumbling duo while he's about to answer on the radio about his comrades inquiries using his left hand.

The other front patrol is moving to the front of the warehouse but stays about 50' away from his partner. He has unslung his SKS rifle and is moving in a position where he can cover his friend efficiently. But he's also scanninng the crowd in front of the warehouse.

Of all the guards present, he seems to be the oldest and have the coolest head.

Spot
19 + 4 - 5 (I'm guessing a 50' distance between Ken and this guard)

Ken's bluff
4 + 2

He locates Ken and frowns. His check isn't high enough to see the concealed pistol or the rifle in the duffel bag, but it's good enough to start thinking that there are too damn many white boy trying hard to fit in. At this point he might even starts thinking about the other team members he might have seen walking a few minutes ago. He seems worried.

Kareem_Amirr

First Post
Kareem mutters "Go for my right shoulder, it's there," in Arabic. He will then move in to grapple with Kim. While wrestling, he'll grab the handle of Kim's pistol. "Ready?" he whispers.
