Stacking Synergy Bonuses?

kerflop

First Post
Hey guys and gals... This is a specific D&D question.
Do synergy bonus' stack? For example...

I have 5 Ranks in Bluff = +2 synergy bonus to Diplomacy
I have 5 Ranks in Sense Motive = +2 synergy bonus to Diplomacy

Does that mean I have +4 synergy bonus to Diplomacy?

Thanks for any help

You bet you can. Diplomacy is one of the easiest skills to beef up that way, but there are some others. But back to the point, yes, the bonuses stack

In 3E, they were synergy bonuses, and synergy bonuses explicitly stacked with each other.

In 3.5, 'Skill Synergy' provides an unnamed bonus, and unnamed bonuses stack.

One of our group pointed out that diplomacy says "If you have 5 ranks of <blah> or 5 ranks of <blah2> or ... then you receive +2 to your diplomacy check." Implying that regardless of how many are true, you still only get a single +2. I'm pretty sure they're *supposed* to stack, but I'm just sayin....

Except that each of the skills, Bluff, Sense Motive, and Knowledge (Religion) individually state that they provide a +2 (unnamed) bonus to Diplomacy checks.
