hmmm, very interesting.



It was difficult to recreate. It wasn't until I hit subscribe that the screen actually popped up.

Since it didn't have Wotc in the title, I double checked by going directly to the SWGM main page then to subscriptions.

I was wondering myself since I still have over a year left on mine. I'm thinking of asking because I don't want it to shift to another mag I don't want like when ODCM got canceled.

I truly doubt they're going to give refunds.
More than likely it will be switched to another magazine which I would guess would be Star Wars Insider.

Man, this has been a record week plus of lameness coming from Wizards of the Coast.

I can only hope that SW Gamer has been suspended only because the revised rules are coming out shortly, and continuing to pump out 'old rules' from the old edition wouldn't be all that practical.

I hope so too. I really like the mag. Hopefully we'll at least get #10 first and they'll fully explain what's going on in it.

Whoops.. I just got around to looking through the SW boards at Wizard's site, and it looks like it indeed has been suspended as Wizards contemplates whether to keep publishing it or not.

Looks like it might tank after all :/

That sucks. I certainly don't want to have a subscription to Star Wars Insider...blech!

Maybe I can convince them to switch my remaining YEARS over to Dragon or Dungeon. Heh. If they let me do this, I should be well-stocked with Dungeon magazines due to my current subscription, RPGA membership, and now the possible Star Wars Gamer substitution....

But I'd rather have the mag.

I think WotC vastly overestimated the potential populatiry of a Star Wars license.
