Lucky shakes his head as he wipes the already clean bar with a towel. "Heh, yeah insurance. The police dont even come down here any more their so busy. I wonder what a couple of uniforms are pokin around for. Ain't been a big raid down here since tha swoop gang war a few years back." The Zabrak turns away from Mira."Uh oh look out."

Near the door, the officer removes a datapad from his tunic. Looking around he spies the only human in the cantina --Mira. Standing up he strides over and stops behind the human female.

"Pardon me." the young officer says politely. "My name is Ensign Roke of Planetary Secrity. I'm looking for someone; have you seen this being by any chance?" The officer holds up the datpad- a frozen image shows two pictures of a male blue skinned unsmiling Twi-lek, one in profile and one from the front. The image is labelled Vao, Griff - CD1289-005H7.

"Yeah, that was.... Oh, thanks lucky." Mira sipped her drink again as the officer strode over, then listened to him.

"I mighta seen him, can't remember, I fly in and out of a lotta dives like this. Name sounds familiar, though.. can't quite place it, though.." she says as she takes another drink.

"But we can't just let people think that they can just attack Jedi without consequence. We keep the peace. An assault on us is an assault on every innocent person in the galaxy. We cannot be seen as weak. This," he holds up his lightsaber, "is our special authority. We are Jedi!"

Yun shakes his head disapprovingly:

"We are no mere warrior order who has to project an aura of invincibility. The Jedi judge and are judged by a different measure.

True, the lightsaber is often regarded as a symbol of the Jedi, but even if this would be true, it is but one symbol and certainly not the symbol of our order. You would do well to remember that if the lightsaber is used too frequently and for every trivial task, it becomes nothing more than a common tool.

And for our 'authority': How can the Jedi enforce any kind of law, if they put themselves above it?

No, we must abide by the rules to show that they are worth following."

While Brasa works with the com terminal, Yun takes a closer look at the container and its contents, paying special attention to the one prominent metallic piece.

"Master Vandar, sorry for leaving so suddenly. I had a vision that Brasa, Yun, and Joran were in grave danger...and I wasn't there to save them!"

"Save them? A vision? I would not discount your species ability to forsee the future. However, I would expect less rashness of action from my students, Arcos."

"However, if you had not been on detached duty, I would have assigned you to this duty with your fellow padawans. Carry on, and I will explain the situation."

As Arcos approaches the Bazaar, Master Vandar explains the mission of Yun, Joran and Brasa. "May the Force be with you." Vandar says, signing off.

A few moments later, Arcos manuevers his speeder on the landing pad on the 40th floor of the building. As he powers down his vehicle, Arocs notices the pad is enclosed by a gated fence. A security booth stands near the gate, but looks unoccupied.

"Oh I see, a spacer." the Ensign says, smiling."Understandable, sorry to bother you."

The officer takes a few steps away from the bar. Then stopping he looks over his shoulder and adds, "What ship exactly do you "fly" in?"

The terminal obeys Brasa's command. The screen changes to display the recorded image of a gold skinned female Twi-lek. The females headstalks are heavily tatooed, and she wears a risque low cut dress. Her face, rather attractive, bears a scornful expression.

"Griff, Griff? Where are you? You got some nerve calling me after disappearing for months. And you still owe me 3000 creds from the last time you were on world, you nerf herder! Why are you bugging me now?"

The female's headstalks twitter in irritation. "I don't want to see you- and I dont know any slicers who'd work for you. Even if I did I wouldn't steer them to you. Why dont you try one of the shops in the bazaar cheapskate?"

The Twi-lek's expression softens. "Look I don't know what scheme you got working now but leave me out of it ok? Don't call me again. And look (and I dont know why I telling you) some human came into the Quasar when I was dancing there last night. A tough looking guy and he's looking for you. Be careful Griff... and if you come up with my creds send it my way deadbeat!"

The recording ends.

Breaking off the debate with Joran for a moment, Yun searches the container. A pair of mundane tunics and pants are tangled in a heap, but beneath the clothes are the metalaic surfaces.

The Jedi finds 2 battered bulky lightsabers in poor condition. Of antique design and minus any power source the tarnished saber hilts lay half out of the container. Inside the container, Yun finds 10 palm sized round medallions, each engraved with a starburst emblem and the name Kedda Halcyon on both faces of the objects. At the bottom of the container are 3 finger sized crystals, pale blue, each one enscribed with portions of the Jedi Code.

Arcos is briefly concerned about his master's criticism, but quickly shakes it off.

Arcos then sneaks toward the security booth, making sure to pay attention to what is around him

Joran rolls his eyes.

"You sound just like Master Vandar sometimes, Yun."

Joran's face lights up at the sight of the lightsabers.

"Oh, wow! Look at those."

He quickly clips his own lightsaber to his belt and then, almost reverantly, picks up the other two lightsabers. There is no trace of his former anger as he closely examines them. He seems, in fact, to be oblivious to anything else around him at the moment.

Mira stopped in mid-drink, wondering if she'ld broken any laws lately... the ship should be clean, but you never know.. "It's a freighter, the Mirage Queen" She said to the ensign. "Was there anything else you'ld like to... discuss, sir?" She smiled at him.

The Ensign turns back to face Mira and drops his hands to his side. "The Mirage Queen? I see. Perhaps then you wouldn't mind accompanying us back to headquarters and answer a few more questions?"

The officer smiles warmly. "Now- if you don't mind."
