This other galaxy they end up in is likely the same one that Ahsoka is currently stranded in and they may work together in season 2 of Ahsoka to get everyone back to the home galaxy.

It may well be that the ship they borrow is the Eye of Sion, but even if it’s well before Ben Solo’s time, it seems likely the kids are associated with Luke’s school.

No, their ship is called the Onyx Cinder. There are several images of it out there, including the LEGO version, but I can't add an image right now.

But it does not look like a ship capable of making an intergalactic hyperjump. So there are still only two known ways to get them to another galaxy - purgill or the Eye of Sion. Evil-MacEvilface looks small enough to be an Eye of Sion shuttle.

My guess is they steal it from the pirates in an escape attempt and that is the pirate name for the ship.

The design does have similarities to some of the pirate vessels in the Mandalorian. Are we going to ship a bunch of pirates off to another galaxy as well, since it sounds like they are the regular bad guys?

Nah, a protostar drive only works on cool looking ships, not hunks of junk. Since the Millennium Falcon is the fastest hunk of junk, this ship must be slower so as not to break canon.
