So, this is the final episode and it going to be a shoot 'em up. I wonder if that's by design or accident, though it hardly matters. I love me some space battles :)

There were some great episodes this season, with some fine acting and characterization. Not to mention lovely effects/space-battle porn.

I'm going to miss this show. The best Stargate, by far. Then again, how could the others hope to compete, with there 80s SF production values, ubiquitous Egyptian-kitsch, nemeses that looked like Erector Sets (at first), gold-embossed foreheads, and an insurmountable lack of Robert Carlyle and the supporting actors of Team Science.

I liked it. Strong enough a finish to be satisfying...and still not a finish!

Clever, clever! If, by some miracle, SG:U gets picked up by another broadcaster, they have a LOT of outs.

Too bad the show is ending. I kinda enjoyed it. For me it was one of those shows i catch on demand when ever I am bored... I'll have to be sure to watch this episode, I'm interested in how it ends.

Not so much blowing stuff up as I'd have liked, but oh well.

On a technical level through out the series, the damn lighting on the show annoyed me because it was too dark, at least on my television, to see details on all the space ships.

Shockingly poor tv series.

Stargate SG-1 at least in the early season is suprerior in every facet

I think SGU developed in season two the way some great series develop in the first few episodes. It definitely didn't hit the ground running, and made its share of missteps, but the second half of the second season found a way to be compelling enough to make me want it to continue. It certainly avoids the formulaic character presentation that plagued later seasons of SG1.

I don't think it was a shock. I think a good swhow these days is more of a shock.

It was better when it was on Showtime and probably a better budget then it did on the much smaller sci fi channel.

I thought it made for a pretty good ending. the sheer number of those tech destroying ships though is staggering and I hope so writer or someone comes out and says what they were going to do with them.
