Stone trolls are horrendouse creatures, towering over most of their kin. They have sunken eye sockets, massive claws a fang-filled mouth, and a nasty disposition. Stone trolls are completely hairless. Their skin is hard, rocky, and is colored to provide camouflage in their natural habitat. Stone trolls gain this coloration by ingesting rocks and stones native to their territory. Because of their rocky nature, stone trolls can subsist on stones gems, and other minerals. Though not appetizing it can hold them over until live prey can be attained.
Combat
Stone trolls prefer to rip apart their opponents, preferring to use their natural weapons or thrown stones to pulverize their prey.
Regeneration (Ex): Acid damage deals normal damage to a stone troll. If a troll loses a limb or body part, the lost portion can be reattached the severed member instantly by holding it to the stump, otherwise the limb will not regenerate.
Rend (Ex): If a troll hits with both claw attacks, it latches onto the opponent’s body and tears the flesh. This attack automatically deals an additional 2d6+10 points of damage.
Rock Throwing (Ex): Rock Trolls are accomplished rock throwers and can hurl rocks weighing 40 to 50 pounds each (Small objects), dealing 2d6+10 damage at a range of 60 feet.
Resistances (Ex): Stone Trolls take only half damage from fire, heat, cold, and electrical attacks. Such attacks are regenerated normally. They are also completely immune to spells that effect stone.
Vulnerabilities (Ex): If a stone troll is struck by both fire and heat it takes double damage and must make a Fortitude save (DC 25) if the troll fails its body shatters, slaying the creature instantly. Sonic attacks deal double damage, though such damage can be regenerated.
Skills*: Stone trolls receive a +4 to their Climb, and Hide checks when in rocky environments.
