Stupid familiar tricks ... argh!

Letting your familiar spend a full-round action to dump a Cure potion down your throat while you continue spellcasting is a good use of its time.

Okay, I know you can't do this. Someone sort these out for me, please (it's for humor purposes). And no, this has not showed up IMC, and will never do so.

Wouldn't it require a concentration check or something? And what happens if you have a verbal component?

Clatu Varata Nisu*glug* *glug* :D

Find me the passage in the official literature that says it can't be done and houserule whatever makes you feel comfortable.
You can't use verbal components while drinking. Show me in the literature that says you CAN.

The question that occurs to me in relation to your familiar pouring a potion down your throat is whether or not you have a MONKEY as a familiar - or something else that has hands!!!

You can only pour a potion down the throat of an unconscious person.

Having your monkey familiar stabilize an unconscious companion by pouring a potion down their throat sounds like a good use of its time, and something I never thought of before.

I suppose the monkey could just act like a little combat medic, and go around trying to stabilize people as well, even if it doesn't have potions.

My druid plans to awaken his monkey animal companion for this very purpose. (Well, that, and to carry the the druid's spell component pouch so he can cast Natural Spells while wildshaped...)

Wow.

This is a great thing to have your Homonculus (or Boggun) trained to do.

We already have a known location on each character for their cure potion to be used if they go down. How hard would it be to show your homnculus where it is and when to use it?

Can you say "yoink!" Sure, I knew you could.
