you see, its the whole point of the post, the whole point
of the argument, and I wouldnt have pounded your face
into it if you hadn't been rude when I said "Read the spell."

You were rude. Period.

I did read the spell you dimwit. I just happened to overlook one sentence when I did so. I admited it when it you pointed it out, but your tactic is still invalid and munchkin, just not for the reasons I pointed out initially.

Given your antagonistic attitude, I feel no remorse for calling you munchkin, since that is exactly what you are doing: trying to bend the rules to give your character an unwarranted advantage.

You deserved it, and another round as well, but you I'm
done with you and your cries of "Munchkinism".

No, I did not. You proposed some munchkin plan, I said it wasn't possible, and you were rude when you corrected me on the one point I got wrong. Then you got even ruder. You have quickly exhausted the initial store of respect I give everyone, and have done nothing to regain it.

No, it has not. Crothian pointed out most of the flaws better than I did, but there are more.

Yes, difficult to do right, but when done
correctly, a quite valid use of a teleporting 1HD summoned
monster.

No, it is not. It's an almost textbook attempt at munchkinism

Most people are beyond asking IF this can be
done now; the only debate I'm getting elsewhere is what
type of house rule should be used to limit it.

It simply will not work the way you want it to. Try it in any game I 'm running and you will find out exactly why.

I didnt exactly jump down his throat when I proved my point,
I just said hey look here I'm right. His response was one of
"well I still think you're lame". In my book, I was nice
up to that point. at THAT point I went "I'm lame but right! Nyah nyah!"....I even joked around in my response to his "munchkin" crap the first time. The second time, I wasn't about to take that bull anymore. So, yes, take the veteran posters side if you like.
I'm not some scatterbrained teen who will be deluded about
the truth of the situation, however.

I don't have a problem with being corrected (not that I like it). I freely admitted it when I realized that I had overlooked part of the spell description.

I'm simply calling your tactic munchkin because it is munchkin. Period, end of statement.

Did you really expect people to go "wow, that's cool! If the DM buy's this line of BS, I can steal people's items and they can't do anything about it! Or better yet, the DM can use this as an excuse to steal all my character's stuff! Whee!" Get real.

Your the one who decided to start making childish personal attacks when they couldn't handle it. Feel better about yourself now?

If you want some respect, the first step is to stop throwing these little verbal temper tantrums. Whining and attacking people who disagree with you doesn't garner any respect.

Dude. Piece of advice. Don't bother arguing with Caliban when it gets personal (unless you have as much fun with it as I do), and besides, as I've learned, it's bad tact.

I think my current total is lower than it should for some reason. I have no clue as to why. *shrug* Not a big deal, post count doesn't really mean anything to me.
