Sundering? Underrated?

Tactics

Monk + imp disarm + spring attack= weapon stolen and run. (just gets better and better as the character gets higher in level, using the hustle action to double your speed can result in 180 feet of distance between you and the opponent)
Same tactic with adamantine ki strike and sunder.
The old trip and disarm combo. (heavy flail or spiked chain type weapon, trip, then use the free attack to disarm. 2 move actions to get back to where your opponent was)

Actually, it is even more flexible than Hyp's quote indicates. Not only can you decide what type of attack actions to make on the fly, in most cases the combatant can take one attack at full BAB then decide based on the result whether to follow through and complete a full attack or do a Move Action instead. (There are potential limitations if you took a 5' step first, or are using Flurry of Blows or TWF feats.)

My monk has both improved disarm and improved sunder, I break the stuff that doesnt look cool, and I disarm the stuff that does. If I disarm it, I then toss it over to the fighter. We find out quickly if its awesome or not ;)

I dont see the problem. Good luck sundering my arms, legs, knees, head, and such, too.

Seeten, you must have some other feats that help with the sunder - otherwise a monk's unarmed attack is not as good as just about any magical adamantine weapon.
