I guess Neutral Good is the right alignment for a Half-elf Bard...
And evil has no place in this game!

I'm with EzekielRaiden on this... that and I really like Eadric from Tales of the Wyre

Eadric is pretty neat. I dunno quite how far I got through the Wyre story, percentagewise--where I stopped, the magic tablet thingy was in place and a bunch of people thought long-dead had begun to return (I want to say it was a cultic/religious group?)

Although they're certainly not the same, Eadric and the Paladin I've played in my DungeonWorld group for about a year and a half...they've got similarities. Eadric isn't married and has thus been more free with his behavior on that front, whereas my Pally has remained faithful to his wife even though she's been dead several years (and, with luck, he will resurrect her soon). Both of them struggle with the line between Law and Good in ways that make for a fun story though, and that's part of what I love about the alignment. None of the "gotcha" BS, but rather situations that force the character to ask, "Right now, in this situation, what do I choose?" I feel like you just don't see those kinds of internal conflicts in most other alignments. Not that you can't find ways, mind...just that they seem "ready-made" for LG, and aren't quite "ready-made" for other alignments.

I like my evil urbane and gentlemanly. (LE +1)
After seeing that every single bad guy in PotA is NE, I'm really hating the blandness. (NE -3)
