Edit:
-3 to Chaotic Evil because it is too disruptive (and turns against itself most of the time)
+1 to Neutral Good because I like to be good with a balance between law and chaos!

Lawful Good +1 because I'm nostalgic about old school paladins and shiny armour

Chaotic Evil -3 because players of CE pcs typically try to burn down the setting and kill all the other PCs

Neutral can be interesting and probably won't get a lot of love over the voting.

Always wanted to kill the Joker :p

Since you posited a rational explanation, I have to ask for story time! In my experience, Lawful Neutral is a fairly rare player choice, and I've never seen it used as a cover for evil. Maybe a little authoritarian, maybe a little too much rules. I even knew an OCD gamer that played LN because, well, because. Am I missing something? Is this new?
As someone else who self-identifies as CG, I don't find there to be much moral distinction between following an evil law and following the law because it's evil. I don't have any fun stories; it's mostly been little, annoying things.

I hate CN more than LN because CN should be all about the love of freedom, not the love of randomness (balanced or otherwise). It's often (usually?) played for randomness.

Because my favorite characters are frequently the ones who make a somewhat impartial, philosophically correct choice based on reason rather than feels. Examples: Starbuck (Moby Dick), Faramir, Jubal Harshaw, Sherlock Holmes, Samuel Gerard

Just because I've seen a million chaotic good characters who never ever do anything good. Just be chaotic neutral and be done with it.

Lawful good =/= awful good. One of the most heroic alignments. Negative to CN, because it seems it's always the alignment players want when they want to be selfish and do whatever they want without admitting that their PC is actually evil.
