He's an only child with a neglectful absentee father. He's bored and lonely and desperate for an adventure. Of course he's going to push the flashing green button! I don't blame him.Mildly entertaining, but the one that pushes buttons really annoys me. I can see the others locking him in the brig until he learns to behave.
That said, I suspect Jod will step in as a substitute father figure for Wim ... at least temporarily. They'll no doubt have a falling out when Wim learns that Jod was a pirate and has been using the kids to gain access to At Attin's "eternal treasure", but then they'll reconcile after Jod has a change of heart (which will most likely ultimately lead to his death). Maybe Wim will learn to be less impulsive as a result.
