I'd like to change Dur'dan's actions of going back into the inn if you wouldn't mind Kiraya. Maybe join Thain in escorting the suspect? I feel Dur'dan is slipping into the background a little bit and needs something to do something to tie him into the group somehow.

No. However, I have another D&D 5E campaign, The Fall of Blackmoor, that is always looking for new recruits.
