Tabasco Sauce: Whats your favorite kind?

I love me the standard red tobasco sauce. Never tried the green stuff, at least not yet. I'll be putting it on the shopping list for next week.

Ever try Dave's Insanity Sauce? Way too hot for me to use straight, but I like to use it in soups and sauces.

I don't like Tabasco. I like Frank's Hot Sauce. It's not hot, but flavorful.

I get some from my father, who grows his own peppers and makes his own. Storebought is far too weak

If I'm looking for a condiment, any darned hot sauce will do. If I am cooking, I only use the classic red Tabasco. It brings the flavor. It's the best you can do lacking the actual peppers, which I find hard to find most trips to the stores of the Midwest, when I am in the Midwest.

Kind of like trying to find black strap molasses in Iowa.

Tabasco sauce is the brand. In general terms, it should be more properly called "red pepper sauce".

I like Tabasco, but I usually go with Frank's... Tabasco, for some reason, is much, much more expensive than any of the other brands.
