D&D 5E (2014) Tall's PotA Campaign - IC

"I agree that we must make haste, so do not think we have time to drug the lookout. Simpler to just overpower him without killing him, and then make for the gully.

Savra, thank you for the information, can you tell us anything to help us pose as new cult members when we get to their base in the gully? Or do we just say Thurl sent us to serve the prophet of Air?"

"But first the look out. I only wish we had more time. I know a spell that could paralyze the look out for a brief moment, long enough to bind and hide him at least."

Errol looked around at the others. “Okay, then. Savra, will you and Thessel be okay while we do this? If not, I suggest you take the hippogriffs. You have some dead knights, and Julius the squire was injured, so his is available. There should be some mount you could take and not be missed., at least immediately.”

Errol unslung his bow. “What about the monks?” he asked, looking up the stairs to where he knew the monks had been meditating in the garden room.

"We could have a nice quite chat with them, I'm sure they will know something" Duran's face is a mixture of rage and disappointment as once again he seems to be suggesting a dubious course of action. Does doing bad things to bad people make it right?

Errol looked to Duran and nodded. “I am not sure they will be amenable, but perhaps we can bypass them. If we leave now, we might even be able to leave the sentry on duty and use the fog for cover. That way no one is suspicious if the sentry is missing. We just got lost when we tried to return to the hunt after helping Julius get back to the Spire safely.”

"The only issue there is neither me nor.." Duran looks at Ilvellios with that confused look you make when you enter a room and can't remember why before turning back to ErrolIlva, Leo... no that's not it... ivan?" Duran carries on like this for some time before finally getting it right"Ilvellios! Where not on the hunt." Duran seems pleased with himself for finally remembering his companions name

Feathergale Spire
Day 3, Evening

On the way to the top of the tower you notice that only the younger of the two monks remains in the Solarium. Once you arrive at the top you find the sentry, another squire and the older of the monks trying to help Julian. Even without any knowledge of medicine it's obvious that they aren't exactly competent.
