"I think we'd have to climb down in to the yard to get in, I don't see any entrances from the parapets.", says Nariah. Why don't we see what that building has first?", indicating K15.
"Either is good with me, but it doesn't look too me like the missing delegates are here, they must have another base somewhere, maybe further down that stream we came up on?"
Duran silently regards the group his new form may give him great strength and endurance. How ever communicating in growls wasn't so good when dealing with the uninitiated.
You could try gently biting our wrists and pulling in the direction you want to go!
Or, since you understand us, we can set up a one growl for yes, two growls for no system..
J.V. shrugs his shoulders at the choices before him. He looked at the bear for a moment, noting the conflict on it's face... if a bears face could even show inner conflict... "And what do you have to say about this Mr. Bear?" he says out loud as well as in the mind of the shapeshifted man.
At the sound of voices the sentry on the roof leaps to his feet, "I weren't sleeping! Yer early. Urshn.....what's with the bear?" All comes out of his mouth in a confused collision of thoughts and sentences. He stands before you slightly confused.
GM:
Forgot to add this in the last post. The walls are 10ft high with 5ft merlons making the wall effectively 15ft from the outside. The towers are 20ft high with their own 5ft merlons. Each wall has a stairway leading down into the muster yard and a door at each end leading into the adjacent tower.
From where you are there are two ladders leading back into the donjon. You could drop over the side onto a wall, but that would require an acrobatics check to land properly, as you would be aiming to land on a merlon for a 10 foot drop or, at the very least, the wall for a 15ft drop. If you missed both you are looking at a 20 to 25 ft drop to the ground outside or inside. You would also likely attack attention.
As for the telepathy, I would say yes. You are prohibited from speaking in bear form because a bear can't physically speak, but you retain your intelligence, personality, etc. so I would say that the GOO'lock's ability will allow you to communicate.
As for smelling, they haven't got the skill for any mechanical benefit form smell, but I may give different information for a perception roll depending on the form you are in, eg the human party members might notice a pungent odour, you in bear form will recognise it as bear urine.
