The kid nods, "Yes, yes. There are other shops on our street that were put out of business because of them. I don't even know what they protect us from, but I know you adventurers can handle anything! I'm sure my Pa can give you guys the money instead of the kobolds."

Roswyn observes the conversation between the halfling teen and Tondrek with growing interest. When the kid mentions kobolds, she stands and approaches.

"Hello, son," she says. "Did you say a kobold gang is threatening your family's business? I might be willing to help. What's the name of your father's shop? And do you happen to know what these scaly gangsters call themselves?"

In through the door bursts a striking human male in regal clothing, in one hand is a copy of The Sharn Inquisitive. "I am Lord Jarot! and I will not stand for men of Cyre, or any where, else comming in and under cutting the prices of adventuring services of Sharn adventurers!" he starts gesturing with the news paper, "I will do the same work for less, nay I will do it for half the price if necessary!"

Occ: This is QuestionMark. By the way is there such a thing as a passive bluff? For now though bluff check 1d20+19=34

The drow wearing the leather armor looks over the edge of his glass at the boy and turns to ignore the wretch. He had almost decided to shoo the boy away until the mention of gold was brought up and that was something Tamarand greatly needed for his search.

He walks over to the boy and says "Hello youngling, I am Tamarand. I will help you get rid of these kobolds once and for all. I'll blast their scaly hides back to Khyber.". Turning to the other interested adventurers, he nods and smiles evilly, thinking ahead to the coming fun.

"My name is Harkin by the way. I don't know what they call themselves, but the few times I've seen 'em they wore black armor. My Pa's store is called Ronald's Wares."

"That'd be great, maybe then my Pa can save enough to buy the other shops nearby!"

That sounds good, with Cleaver as the fifth so as not to break the bonds already formed. We get the okay from uk first though.[/sblock]

OOC - Is king on vacation or something? If not what does everyone think if we give him 1 more day then take Question Mark, as the warlock is actually an approved character where Cleaver is still pending?
