[Tavern] Tower's Shard '09

Striding confidently out of the back room, head held high at 3'4", face obscured by a hood attached to a robe that had an odd, yet obnoxious shimmer, Pok approached his sister Roswyn. Who had long ago learned the trick to not being blinded by the nuisance, and had created her own version of the trick.

Leaning in to whisper [sblock=Roswyn]The Kalashtar are above average, guard your thoughts. I'll be in for the rest of the evening, see you when you return. I leave for an extended mission tomorrow. Dearest sister, do be careful of the feral one, who comes to you with job offers. He seems a terror.

Pok gives Roswyn a hug and kiss, then exits the Tavern.

Pok smiled to himself, as he crept home, from back alley to back alley. Tasker's Dream would need detailed records, but he felt this was the start of his rise in the House. Now not just Lanharath, but Valahad as well...

Then the others, ice cream, on an already delicious opportunity pie. Just to be able to keep tabs without suspicion on so many households!

Lanharath already liked him, even if Valahad seemed distant, he would come around as well. The balance needed to be thought out further, this mission would help for that. Best to get to know them, find out if they would enjoy expanding their telepathic abilities.[/sblock]

ryryguy, I'm having a terrible amount of fun with Pok, and I have to say it's mostly thanks to Roswyn. Their background together is a delight to roleplay. Pok has found an in to Tasker's Dream, his new friends are high level empaths.

Harkin raises his voice a little, putting his hand of the hilt of a dagger tucked into his belt. "So who is all coming with me, the scary drow, and the pretty gnome...the mountain lady..." Looking up at the half-orcs tower, he says. "If you like building stuff my Pa had some really good glue to hold stuff together..."

You notice a young man entering the place looking around as it trying to find something.

As soon as someone meets his stare, he moves closer to him and asks about the place.

I've heard that this is the place where they server a famous drink, the McGuffin. I was told that someone named Brews runs the place and is known to share a story or two about adventures and the sort. Do you know where can I find him? My name is Garrick by the way, pleasure to meet you.

"Olladra's blessings on your mission... I know you'll do our House proud!" Roswyn looks after her retreating brother fondly, then turns her attention back to the young halfling.

[sblock=OOC]You're doing a great job! I love the bit about trying to stay neutral... I have a feeling that Roswyn might slip up there and get into trouble someday...[/sblock]

"I am with you, Harkin! My name is Roswyn, by the way.

"Were you planning to take us to meet your father now? First, I'll need to inform my House that I am undertaking this negotiation on your behalf. Does our way pass by the House headquarters district? If not, that's all right, I'll just need a moment or two at a Sivis courier station. They can be found all over this great city."

[sblock=ooc]The district where the houses have their HQs is mentioned in the ECG, but I don't have it handy right now. It doesn't really matter to me if Roswyn goes there or just by a courier station anyway... this is basically just RP fluff (unless the DM wants to make something more of it, of course!)[/sblock]

[sblock=Ryryguy & CaBaNa] I am so glad that you guys are having a blast. I couldn't even imagine how much fun playing with Pok was going to be. So I really must thank you both. Roswyn is making Pok the way he is, and because of that, Roswyn is providng MUCH fun for me (or should I say "us"? :p) through Pok. Someday, I definitely want Lanharath, Pok AND Roswyn to go on an adventure together! That will be awesome! [/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]

Pok needed someone like Lanharath anyway, without Roswyn, he's socially lost... The only time she has been away, he was at the notaries guild running parcels full time. Lanharath is such a good face, that Pok will let him slide into the role his sister fills, without even noticing the gap.
