TDM is Stressing out!

:P

Well everything is getting so very very busy right now that my brain really is quite fried.

I have a 100 page technical study to write which means I'm usually sick of writing by the time I get free time.

I have clients flying in from overseas next week so that means getting things ready and all that annoying presentation stuff.

I still haven't unpacked or done any laundry so the clothes I've been wearing have been displaying my ability to make something wearable out of what I have left.

Apparently I've been neglecting my friends, so now they're bugging me to do things with them.

I got the game Star Wars Galaxies and have been shamelessly playing it during my free time. (*gasp* - well it doesn't require a whole lot of thought so it rests my mentally active mind!)

What does this all mean? It means that your TDM is stressed out and unable to update like she is accustomed to. I apologize for how slow this is getting and I only got to really one game! Please bear with me as the next two weeks get even slower. I will try and do update as I have the time. Hopefully this will get better after next week - but the deadline is August so maybe it will just get worse! ahhh...

Remember, they're just games. Don't let it get to you too much, and take your time to do the important stuff first.

I hope all goes well for you the next few weeks.

Governmentium

New Element Discovered

A major research institution recently announced the discovery of the heaviest chemical element yet known to science. The new element has been tentatively named "Governmentium".

Governmentium has 1 neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 11 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.

Since governmentium has no electrons, it is inert. However, it can be detected as it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A minute amount of governmentium causes one reaction to take over 4 days to complete when it would normally take less than a second.

Governmentium normally has a half-life of 3 - 5 years; it does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places. In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause some morons to become neutrons thus forming isodopes.

This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientists to speculate that governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as "Critical Morass".

You will know it when you see it.

...sound familiar? ;)

ROFLMFAO!!!!!

That works.

BTW, if yer brains becoming a fried green tomato, then playing video games is GOOD. That's how I relax when I'm getting stresed out, and it's never failed me... As long as you can find the right game (for me, starcraft), you can let out your frustration on all the little pixels. I love blowing computer-generated representations of reality into non-existant bytes

Hehe, Governmentium, wonder what would happen if someone ate some...

But yeah, games are very good for becoming unstressed and all, which is why I have a lot of games, and play them often... maybe too often. Gimme a good 1st person shooter anyday (has to have a story line, ie. Half-Life and such), but yeah almost any game will do.
