The "Chill" Channel...

I just noticed this yesterday (actually, my father noticed it, and he mentioned it to me) on DirecTV. Despite the name, it's actually sort of a horror channel. Nothing really great, except re-runs of Friday the 13th the TV show and Night Gallery and horror tinged movies. But that alone catapults it into my top ten channels.

Anyone thought I'd mention it in case anyone else had missed it. Presumably cable and such will also be getting it.

Yeah, I love that show. I actually bought some bootleg dvds of it, but the quality is terrible. Although it does remind me of how I watched it as a kid, on an old B&W TV set which is all I had in my room at the time.

Saw this in the news not long ago, seems to be a split off of the Sci-fi channel.

I guess it just started March 1st. And I think the actual name is the "Chiller" channel. It just got abreviated on the DirecTV listing.

And now that I look on Wikipedia, it looks like it won't be on basic DirecTV for long. Right now they are having a "Free" preview, then pesumably it gets added to one of their most expensive packages
