Tote finishes his spell and strikes through the black pudding, he realizes there is nothing there. The ooze doesn’t react at all to the attack. The door on the other side of the creature is whole, but looks less sturdy than it did a minute ago. Thaimon moves and gets bitten while reloading- but easily fights off the poison. Ozan runs past the snake and into the main sewer line. Ralan wacks the snake with his staff. The badly wounded snake slithers through the doorway trying to get fully into the room. Ralan misses it but Tote smashes his foot down snaps its backbone. The snake spasms and lies still.

Tote: 12, will save 18 – Milrain 13, Ralan, 20 (7 dmg),, Thaimon still has a standard action. Snake fails to confirm a critical, 4 dmg, fort sv 15 (success) vs Thaimon.

Ozan peeks around the corner, hearing no more ruckus. "Everything´s going well?"

Miraln shakes off bits of snake-flesh from his mace and puts it away. He goes to retrieve his crossbow where he dropped it.

"This time," he said, "let's not disable traps by setting them off on us."

Frustrated, Thaimon hurries back into the room with the ooze. "We've lost valuable time," he says. He examines the room, starting with the ooze, to see if it's dangerous, and then on to elsewhere, particularly in and around the desk. He wants to know in particular if the decaying door is the only exit, or if their might be some kind of secret passage.

Ralan will also look for other exits. If he finds nothing, he will say: "does anyone know how to get past that ooze?"

Tote will glance at Ralan, then walk straight through the ooze apparation, then go to examine the door.

Ozan walks again into the room, slightly embarrassed. "We have a wizard that believes he´s funny, living next to a sewer. We must remember that."

He stands back while the others examine the desk and door, and pokes at the phantasmal ooze.

Miraln is content to leave the discovery of secret doors and such to those who like that sort of thing. Instead, he draws his dagger and starts dissecting the snake.

Miraln carefully removes the venom sacks from the snake and drops them into a small pouch. Then he starts hacking away at the stomach.

"who knows," he thinks to himself, "it might have swallowed something interesting."
