The Crux of the Matter

(OOC: Plus he's going to have a great deal of trouble hitting Tenebrynn at all. If he doesn't use TWF, he can hit on an 18, I think. It would be easier if Tenebrynn was a Dark Elf)

(GAH! Why must you guys ALWAYS pick up the posting while I'm away (sleeping in this case)? That's pretty much what I wanted to talk with Tenebrynn about, that he casts Dispel on "Love" and the others, and not on the seal. :\ Since we still had a dispel with Hogarth, I believe, we could have broken the seal anyway, or could have figured out that we shouldn't.)

(OOC: Tenebrynn was being impulsive. Don't worry--since Hogarth had the other Dispel, at best you would have gained one round while she made him use his spell through her power of persuasion. At the point that you were already up there and next to it, it was probably already too late)

(Can I get at least get the other part of what I wanted to do, namely firing a scorching ray at "Love" after Tenebrynn's dispel?

I can't exactly say that this lessens my worry here.)
(OOC: You mean you wanted to fire the Scorching Ray before anything untoward happened? I'll tell you what. Before, I had everyone roll initiative after "Love" opened the door and Eve and co came out. But now I'll make her roll for initiative too, and if she doesn't beat Ashna's initiative, we can go back and add that in first. Otherwise, nothing was lost after the Dispel because it wasn't Ashna's turn on initiative anyway. Sound good?)

(Other than habe Tenebrynn 'prank' Love and the party, yes, before anything untoward happened. Was the plan, not that it'll do any good now.)
"Damn it Tenebrynn, I told you NOT the seal!" Ashna shouts as she sees that Tenebrynn didn't follow her suggestion to 'prank' the team.
"Eve, I presume? I actually didn't really trust any aspect, considering your original personality. But while you're gloating, feel free to spill it." she says, keeping her own theories out of it.

(OOC:  If she hadn't been working with Eve and Ashna fried her, that would have made Ashna ook pretty bad then ;))

"Oh, I won't insult your intelligence. I'm sure it was quite obvious who betrayed you. A pity the barrier had that odd idiosyncrasy that prevented us from dispelling it personally. I suppose it makes sense though. Well, now that you have done that, I am afraid you are all expendable. I'll let Lust keep her new toys as a reward for her success, but I think the two of you are too meddlesome. You shall have to disappear."

(OOC: I don't think anyone is actually close enough to level, even with the XP if I gave it, but I guess it is theoretically possible. Was Hogarth or Ashna close?)

If Rinaldo win 300XP, Hogarth will raise in level and will have more spells! And by the way, Rinaldo only draw 2 cards only, the other 2 was Hogarth...

A question, do Rinaldo and Hogarth still have a bit of there own will. Can they try to twist Lust or Eve words? And does Riinaldo's love for Valeria gives any bonus against that kind of control... (hey, if that background can come handy in an adventure, why not use it :p A guy can ask.)

Edit: Another quetsion, if it is similar to astral, do caster can cast all there prepared spell as quicken spells? That would made the rope trick a bit useless :p [/SBLOCK]
