(OOC: Ohhhhh! Sorry :o That's an English expression. "Take it out" or "Take him out" means to destroy or neutralise it/him, as in the sentence "We'll have to find some way to take out the sentries or we'll never be able to get into the castle without raising the alarm.")

OOC: I know the expression too, but English, being my second language, I seldom miss them.

"We'll take it out and hope then," Vanitri says. "It's far more dangerous for all if we don't."

"It's just a shame we can't take the Deck with. That was fun. Think I could give it another try?"

OOC: I somehow thought it was portable too, not sure why. But you're right RA, I don't think you ever said it could, I think it just somehow got implied.

"I think I've seen enough random effects like that, let's end that curse and get out of here for some normality." On that Rinaldo start again to climb up, floating just above the ground for testing the sensation of levitation.

*Tenebrynn casts Dispel Magic and manages to Dispel the barrier. This releases a large amount of something weird that seems to have been built into the seal, which catapults everyone into an empty void of Nullspace temporarily, for different amounts of time. However, when they all return, no time has actually passed in the real world.*

*Rinaldo is stuck in Nullspace for 6 hours, Vanitri for 50 minutes, Ashna for two days, Hogarth for a week, and Tenebrynn for -10 minutes. Living backwards might alarm, frighten, or disorient most people, but to Tenebrynn, it's all pretty cool, and she is probably ready to do it again--hurray!*

(OOC: I don't think anyone is actually close enough to level, even with the XP if I gave it, but I guess it is theoretically possible. Was Hogarth or Ashna close?)

*When they come back, the seal is successfully removed, and the elaborate doors leading to the rooms on this floor can be opened.*

"Don't worry darling, there's no trap on the door," Love replies, opening the door to prove the point.

*The door leads into a vast opulent set of personal chambers, easily fit for royalty. The silhouette of a woman sleeping is visible beyond the silken drapes of the plush richly-appointed bed in the attaching bedroom. She appears to be stirring.*

"Thank you for your help, Ms. Pixie. It was truly appreciated. You know, honestly, I really do like all of you. I just want you to know that."

*Suddenly, a Rope appears in thin air behind Ashna and Tenebrynn, though Tenebrynn fails her Spot check to notice this (everyone else in the party sees it though). Ashna recognises it as a Rope Trick. Several women descend, clearly deferring to the one who descends first. She is dressed in an elegant dark purple dress with a stole and laurel wreath.*

"Quit with the sentimental crap, Lust. You did a good job, but let's continue, shall we?" the woman orders.

*Love--or is it Lust?--nods slightly and her eyes glow with soft magenta energy. All the characters previously entranced by her (Vanitri, Rinaldo, Hogarth) have their eyes glow with a similar colour, and they will now follow her suggestions.*

"Darlings, I will need your help to protect poor little me against those scary Ashna and Tenebrynn. I know my big strong handsome heroes will save me, and afterwards, I'll show you my appreciation," she winks salaciously, "Whoever beats them most will be my favourite."

(OOC: Okay, now Tenebrynn goes in Initiative)

(OOC: Oh, it may be worth noting the exact mechanical benefits of the items you guys decided to actually use and that have constant effects. As you may have guessed by my posting that Tenebrynn has 28 AC and doing the math, the Ring gives +2 Deflection to AC (though that distortion field is blurry and gives her -2 to other things). The necklace gives +1 Enhancement to Natural Armour, +2 Wis, and +2 Cha. The bracelets give +2 Dex)
