"I don't... find that funny." replies Hogath. "But I think... I should not... cast the... dispel yet... I don't know what... is affecting us. If I use it now, we... might... get affected... again. There is no... danger yet and we are... working on the... problem."

"Laynie is working on it and your way of talking will make Tenebrynn laugh too long, so shut up and Tenebrynn might successfully stop to laugh and the tranquility will gives that little hard head a better place of work." tells Rinaldo, keeping watch on the outside.

(OOC: Well, looks like nobody will likely protest, so...)

*After about a half hour, from his vantage point just outside the door, Rinaldo thinks he hears whispering somewhere from below the open stairs, where the landing overlooks the first floor. However, he can't make out any cause for the sound.*

*After another half hour (at which point Laynie isn't quite finished still), a wispy incorporeal figure floats up to approach him and speaks:*

"Well, well. Looks like Xu wasn't wrong. Such dextrous-looking legs. I must say I'm jealous. And you brought it with you. How thoughtful. Now why not lay down those weapon of yours--oh, is that adamantine? I've always wanted one of those--and step aside. I'll take what I've come for and you can leave. Or, of course, we could do it the fun way too..."

Vanitri sighs and stands up, "So someone's finaly here to kill us? At least it will put an end to the waiting."

"It? And what are you searching for? And who are you? I don't like much someone take it something for me for free, it is really bad for business, but I always open to negotiation, but even before negotiating, manners ask we present ourselves and state what we deal for. My name is Rinaldo di Senzio. I am a trader specialize in magcals wares. You might be?" The voice of Rinaldo shows that he has been annoyed by how he has been spoken.
