The Crux of the Matter

Vanitri will check for the doublessly lethal trap that awaits him at the door.

If he finds it, he'll disarm it.

Then, he'll see if the door is locked, and try to pick it if it is.

Then he will open the door and enter.

*Much like its symmetrical opposite, this door is neither trapped nor locked.*

*Inside, Vanitri finds an extensive alchemical and potion-making laboratory, complete with long tubes of various shapes and various-coloured liquids.*
 

Vanitri will examine the liquids and stuff, looking for anything potentialy magical. (He'll use his detect magic). Maybe there's a potion in here that will make him happy.
 

*There are several potions that detect as magic, but he has a bit of trouble identifying most of the auras. One of them is transmutation, but the rest he can't tell.*
 



"There's lots of magical potions here, though likely not one to cheer me up," Vanitri says with a disapointed sigh.
 



Tenebrynn will wander about the room looking for something to amuse himself (search). If he finds nothing he'll poke his head out of the room wondering if the other two have found anything fun.
