1. Would any of you prefer if the cartoon was instead placed in Greyhawk? Geniuelly curious, since Greyhawk has a reputation of more malleable.
Yup. I’m thinking the Realm might work as a far away part of Oerth - not in the Flanaess which is 99.5% of Greyhawk materials.

But I don’t know enough about The Realm to actually do it. If they sold it, I would buy.

Heh. I guess they had difficulty retconning the extra moons?

Out of curiosity, in what way does the adventure distinguish itself from the Forgotten Realms?

Sidebar for "Playing in other worlds" And lists FR, Greyhawk, etc as an option. Basically a way to give them the quest a different way that more thematic I guess. Before that it says the characters are in The Realm.

Interesting. What regions were these found in? What edition are they first referenced in? Now you've got me curious about FR stuff.
The Cartoon occasionally depicts a skyscape that feature three moons. By contrast, in the Forgotten Realms, the planet of Toril has one moon, which is followed by a wake of astroid "tears".

The new starter adventure that uses the kids further cements they have always been in FR.

Also, they got home but got pulled back as adults with a new friend Niko the Cleric.

Be interesting seeing a Cleric of Jesus running around Faerun.

Though being WotC I'm sure Jesus is really Bahamut or whatever.

Wtf a Cleric of Jesus, Jesus is a Forgotten Realms God now? When is he taking his seat with the Council of Greater Gods?

That whole just kidding about the monotheism thing Niko conversation had to be fun.

I mean okay Hinduism has been in FR since like or 1e or 2e, in the Koung Kingdom, but that at least isn't hard monotheism.

This sets up a weird presidence.

Where is AO in all of this on Vacation? Summering in Cuba?

This just sets up some really awkward questions, I don't think this was a good idea, the theology of Christianity just isn't really compatible with a verified Polytheism, unless it's an unorthodox Christianity like Mormonism, or Wiccan Christianity synthesis which is increasingly a thing for some folks.
