It's a feat. It allows for many arrows to be shot at once as a standard action. It's not broken at all. Gosh hate that term. So over used especially when people don't know the facts. :(

Well, what would you call a feat that allows all four of a character's attacks to be made at their best base attack bonus? One feat cancelling out the whole concept of iterative attacks seems pretty broken to me.

Unless you want to use your iterative attacks to strike multiple foes....

Well, that is a limitation, but not enough of one IMO. Because of the ingrained use of minatures, 3E tends to focus more on battles against fewer, more powerful foes, rather than more numerous, weaker foes.

I just don't see how a feat that can give a character a total bonus of +22 to hit in one round can be called anything but broken. But that's just me.

Well, first off it's not the same as getting all your attacks. Sure, you might fire off 4 arrows, but if you crit only one of the four arrows is considered a crit. Also, all the cool damage bonuses do not apply to all the arrows. It's like throwing 3 throwing stars in one attack.

Can someone post the detalis of this feat? It sounds like there are other drawbacks to it besides the only shooting at one target.

+ It's pretty useful with Haste Boots (aka Boots of Speed). You could fire 8 arrows per round, at your highest bonus -2. With Peerless Archers Power Shot, we're talking about 300+ points of damage / round. Pretty cool that Manyshot. And especially not broken.

Well unless you are really set on hunting dragons or undead with your cleric or PA There are feats in the Mercenaries, War, Path of the Sword, and Soverign Stone Campaign Setting that give you the following feats.

Improved Range Sneak Attacks: Sneak Attacks up to +90ft.

A feat that allows your DEX to also be used for Damage.

A feat that guarantees if you take only one shot that round it will be a critical.

Several feats that deny your opponent cover bonuses and improve your own as well.

Archery feats that let you trip people instead of doing damage.

And the one of the interesting ones?
A CLEAVE TYPE feat for arrows. If the shot drops the opponent
you reroll the die to see if you can hit the guy behind him or adjacent to him

Both character types have strengths these feats can even enhance even more.

WEll, I doubt Power Shot applies to all arrows. THere is a lot of confusion about what damage applies and what does not. :(

Why wouldn't it apply? It isn't precision damage, and the penalty to attack does apply to the attack roll, which is used for all arrows.
