The dumbest place you have seen a trap.

Funny

Our DM took fifty pages of explosive ruins and bound them together in a book and in a city scattered them in lots of ten all around the city. So that when we read the note we were given it it would set them all off at once basically destroying everything in the city lol. Though this sounds drastic we have a member of the party who has about 600 hitpoints at 18th lvl.

If I was a BBEG I'd require every village and hamlet under my rule to build a fake tavern absolutely filled with deadly traps. In case the traps fail, I'd also require the villagers to take turns acting as shadowy employers sending any people asking for 'work' on to suicide missions.

Adventurers are drawn to these places so this would just be nipping it in the bud before the adventurers gain levels and do me in.

Other Funny Stuff

I have also been in a cave and been going throught the levels quite nicely as a second level barbarian warforged and encountered a mine field which would be fatal stepping on a mine then the dm decided to send 400 kobolds riding dire weasels to attack me with arrows my damage reduction would prevent the arrows from hurting me so we had an argument and in the end i lost so instead i threw a rock at the kobolds BOOOOOOOMMMM!! the kobolds were not happy

It's been a long time since I've played them, but I seem to recall one of the Slaver's modules had this corridor that was absolutely brimming with traps and monsters, and it was supposedly the same corridor that the slavers used for transporting slaves. Can't imagine many made it to the slave-markets alive...
