Assuming someone fetched the exhausted Ishmael, he'll say that he's amenable to another stake-out.

"I did not think that we would catch it with only one night. Patience would be a good idea, for at least one more night."

Percy

Percy slaps Ishmael on the shoulder as they begin their second night. "You need a few nights of practice anyway, cutie. You're way too good a singer for a drunk!"

Ishmael grinned sheepishly. "Aye, Mila-, Percy. I suppose I should stop singing well and start singing harder. Is that not how drunks sing? Rather, is that not how drunks bawl?"

"Hmm..." he mused. "Mayhap, I am without proper accompaniment. I certainly did not hear the howling of dogs in the background. 'Tis not truly horrific singing until the beasts cry 'stop' to thee"

oog: When the time comes, Ishmael will head out and sing himself hoarse as planned.

Rodimus lets out something between a snort and a laughter at Ishmael's comment about dogs.
"Not in hurry, wait for a while," are the half-orc's thoughts on the matter of whether to wait another night or not.

The second night seems destined to be much like the first, but as your anxiety begins to turn towards bordom, Ishmael is aproached by three cloaked figures. They appear to be human, and they tower over the brave halfling. One of them speaks in gruff, agressive tones.

"Hey, little man. Nice cloak. You don't mind if I have a look at it, do you?"

Nars was examining the street for the thousandth time.

Same as last night. That building needs new roof tiles. That building is near sinking into the basement. Probably has termites in the floor joists. That house would be much sturdier with an extra support brace.

Then he heard foot falls coming down the street followed closely by 3 cloaked men.
Three redcaps! This could be trouble. They're supposed to be tough little buggers. Wait, those appear to be just men. Probably up to no good at this hour.

Nars continues scanning while keeping one eye on the three men. His hands tighten around the the grips of his crossbow as they approach Ishmael.

Oh no! The baits been taken, but by the wrong quarry. Perhaps stepping out of the darkness would chase them away. But if they did decide to fight, I would loose the element of surprise.

Nars holds his position, ready to come to Ishmael's aid should a fight break out.

Ishmael smiled dumbly at the three men. There was no fear in those blue eyes.

"This eve brings chill breeze to us all, gentlemen. T'would not be neighborly to deprive a Halfling of his warmth?" He opened his palms in a gesture of friendship. He kept his face shadowed by his cowl, but Ishmael made sure to keep all three in his sight. He read their expressions, trying to see if and when they would fight.

ooc: Not sure if I can do this just yet, but declaring dodge on the closest. If battle comes to pass, he'll use full defense and bring up his shield as well as declare dodge on the one I think to be the most dangerous.
