The Faerie Woods [Knight Otu Judging]

"This boring," Rodimus voices his thoughts as they spend their time waiting, capturing riffraff, and generally going around and asking questions. "When we really do something?"

After some additional investigation, you learn that there is a human Druid named Fasroth who lives reasonably close to the Faerie Woods. Fasroth is a Druid of no great stature, and not a contemporary of Fairblood, but he might know something of use.

OOC: Sounds like we're going to visit Fasroth. Everyone agree?

"Well, Fasroth it is."

Nars begins mumbling under his breath. The words "Druids", "talking", "and bushes", "bugs", "magicks" are just barely audible.

Percy slaps Nars on the back. "Hey, I don't much like the woods myself. Too many bugs, sleeping on wet ground, no hot water, burrs in your hair, I mean, come on. Who would like that? But these are the Faery woods. They might be more interesting. & Druids, well, I've never met one before. Let's check it out."

"I once met a Druid. T'was an unfriendly encounter. The vile miscreant was using his feral minions to slaughter the monks of a nearby monastery.

Alas, he has escaped. Hmm...Perhaps the Druid Fasroth would know of this. Or perhaps not

Shall we?"

Nars will walk and resist an attempt to pursuade him otherwise. "These, ah, feet have always, er, gotten me where I'm going."

Persistant convincing, such as "Here is a horse. Get on!", will get him to ride as he's not one to rock the boat.

OOC: He moves at 20 ft. 16 miles per day.

Percy

"Horses are such a lot of bother when you don't have a groom. But I'm not very interested in a long walk. Let me go pick out a light warhorse, and Gorefoot can ride with me."

OOC: Percy's got sufficient cash to buy one. Perhaps a wagon would be good and Nars could ride with them as well.

Persephone

"On second thought, I don't have the cash to buy a proper carriage. I'll just buy a donkey instead, who can carry our stuff. It looks like a walk in the woods for us!"
