The Faerie Woods [Knight Otu Judging]

Nars grits his teeth against Percy's scream, knowing that rushing would only make approaching the redcap more difficult. Nars steps his way to I23. Pulling out his sickle and cold iron dagger in the process.

OOC: Moves at half speed. Balance checks to move to I23 (1d20+3=14, 1d20+3=21) Can you sheathe a weapon for free as part of a move action? If so, Nars sheathes his crossbow during move action 1 and draws his other weapons during move action 2. If this is not possible, he drops his crossbow in route (H24) and draws his weapons during move action 2.
Looks good on the damage, I had included the 8 damage from Persephone, but missed the 6. Thanks for re-checking. Sorry for the interruption.

OOG1: I'm going to try something unorthodox to get past the rubble. Not sure if this is completely legit RAW so... hopefully Ishmael doesn't fall flat on his face again lol.

Ishmael could not help but feel despair when he sees the sling stone greviously wound Percy.

I have to do something. What is happening out there?

His vision blurs slightly from the pain on his forehead, but he manages to focus his will upon the heritage deep within himself. From that font, he draws upon the sorcery of change and he wills nimbleness upon his legs and upon his strides. His free right hand moves of its own volition, tracing arcane gestures in the air. His mail hauberk does not foul the intricate manual movements.

OOG: My Jump Modifier is now a +10 (+8 from 50 foot move, +2 from str)

Even as the spell of Swiftstriding (Expeditious Retreat) imbues the halfling with fleetfootedness, he does not waste time in basking in its effects. With nary a half-second of hesitation, he leaps out unto the rubble in front of him (E27), then lands near Percy (F27) then to a space adjacent her (G26).

Jumping 5 feet (DC 10 to succeed, DC 15 to not fall prone) (to E27 1d20+10=28, to F27 1d20+10=22, to G26 1d20+10=28)

He stops his leaping and bounding then, choosing to stay and aiming to heal Percy (next round) before moving on to the Redcap.

OOC: I will edit here when I'm ready to post, but before I forget, Redcap has 5+7+9+8=29 unless its healing which is entirely possible as far as I know.

This is what I see as far as Redcap Damage:

Round 1: Peresphone magic missile for 5
Round 2: Peresphone magic missile for 7
Round 3: Persephone magic missile for 6 (mis-typed as 4, reviewed in invisible castle. Oops!)
Round 4: (So far) Nars sneak attack with cold iron bolt for 9

For a total of 27, corrected from 25 due to discovering the error. The damage totals at the top of my post do not include the damage done in events described underneath them, so the next 8 points of magic missile damage are not included in the total.

Hearing Persephone cry out in pain, Gorefoot loses himself in a screaming rage as he charges the redcap, slashing madly with his cold iron kukri.

OOC: Attack +10 (+2 BAB, +1 size, +5 Str, +2 charge), 1d3+5 18-20/x2. AC 11 (from raging and charging). +4 hitpoints (from raging).

Round 4 continues

Initiative
Redcap (35 damage)
Nars
Gorefoot
Rodimus
Persephone (13 damage)
Ishmael

Nars drops his crossbow, drawing weapons as he moves to I23.

Gorefoot scream in rage, and immediately attempts to come to Persephone's defence. He charges, a risky proposition given the difficult footing, and his temper does him an ill turn. Smashing prone into the ground, he makes no progress over the terrain and will need to rise from prone next round.

[Need round 3 and 4 actions from Rodimus, please.]

OOC: Well crud, it was worth a shot. :D

Lather, rinse, repeat I guess until he either gets to the Redcap or knocks himself silly on the rubble in a particularly unheroic manner. :)

Rodimus' action, Round 3 & 4 (NPC'd)
Rodimus continues to circle the wall, trying to get behind the redcap. After a series of mistteps, Rodimus ends round 4 prone in E25.

Round 4 concludes

Initiative
Redcap (35 damage)
Nars
Gorefoot
Rodimus
Persephone (13 damage)
Ishmael

(Persephone goes here. Unclear to me if she intends to wait a bit, holding on to her last few spells, or if she wants to burn 2nd level spell slots for magic missiles.)

Ishmael manages to leap from rock to rock in the crowded rubble. The rocks shift underneath him as he lands upon him, and only his great speed allows him to make progress in this manner. He is now in G26.

Round 5 Begins
The Redcap, seeing Gorefoot stumble, slings a stone at him. Gorefoot is hit (d20+9=20) for d6+7=12 damage.

Nars, unsure of what to do, and already regretting his dropped crossbow, moves cautiously to circling around the redcap. He mutters, "Feet don't f-fail me now." He nearly stumbles, but is able to turn the slip into a skip and make progress.

OOC: Move half speed to I21. Full defense. balance check round 5 (1d20+3=13) AC = 23

Gorefoot surges to his feet and once again attempts to get to the Redcap, barely noticing the slingstone as it punches an apple sized hole in his torso. Miraculously it misses his vital organs (he didn't need that spleen anyway).
